Thirsty Thursday: The Mary Pickford

Thirsty Thursday: The Mary Pickford

Speakeasies began popping up all around the country once Prohibition began. In an effort to mask the poor quality of the alcohol available at the time, these speakeasies added fruit, juice, and sodas, creating many of the cocktails we know today.

The Mary Pickford is a classic Prohibition era cocktail, invented in Cuba in the 1920s and named after Mary Pickford, the movie starlet of the time.

This cocktail is made with white rum, pineapple juice, maraschino liqueur, and grenadine.

So let your senses take you back to the Roaring '20s with this sweet cocktail and our Speakeasy soy blend candle.

Cheers!
